Medical Care

We assess, monitor and coordinate patient’s medical care in order to ensure physical wellbeing. This includes review of laboratory testing and electrocardiograms, coordination of pharmacology, genetic testing to assess appropriateness of medications and general medical evaluation.

  • Assess medical safety concerning exercise, nutritional balance, monitoring of weight, management of physical complications, including absence of menstrual periods, management of medical detoxification from alcohol and other substances, the presence of self-injurious behaviors and school refusal, attempting to avoid hospitalization when possible and providing coordination of care when hospitalization is necessary.
  • A staff of pharmacological experts, including adult, child and adolescent psychiatrists will assess and manage psychiatri medication when indicated.
